Scenes of Lesvos

Lesvos is very pretty especially at this time of year, all the Spring flowers are out and the meadows are carpeted in beautiful colours. The mountain shown in the first photo is the one we decided to climb to the top of. As we reached the top the weather closed in and a storm began. We managed to get back down into the town of Petra but did get wet and cold :(

"Patch"

Typical of Greece there are many dogs and cats around. On our regular walk from Anaxos to Petra we became fond of 3 little puppies that would run  from their garden to greet us and play for a few minutes. My favourite was the one pictured here, I named him "Patch", I so wanted to pop him in my rucksack and bring him  home, he was adorable and loved having his tummy tickled! :)
